Our Story
Our shipping roots date back to 1963 when the late Kyriacos G Mouskas, founded Zela Shipping Company in London.
Kyriacos G Mouskas started his shipping career in 1951 having joined a leading Greek Shipping Company. In 1956 he became the manager of the whole office. In April 1963 he formed his own shipping company ‘ Zela’ with his son the late Zenon Mouskas. In 1979 he founded ‘Seascope Shipping Agency’ in Athens, Greece. Today Olympia Ocean Carriers success is attributed to the late Kyriacos integrity, strength, vision and natural leadership.
- The late Zenon Mouskas started his shipping career in 1959, when he joined a leading Greek shipping company. In 1963, he joined his father in forming our first shipping office ‘Zela Shipping’. In 2010 he founded Olympia Ocean Carriers in Limassol, Cyprus.
- Olympia, over the years and through the family’s vast knowledge and expertise has become a leading shipping company in Limassol, providing all services to the maritime industry for its principals.
